A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
AND ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, AND RESCINDING RESO-
LUTION NO. )116
WHEREAS Frederiok D. Robinson and Anna H. Robinson,
husband and wife, are the owners of the hereinafter desoribe4
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California; and
WHEREAS, said owners have offered to sell said property
to the City of Anaheim for the sum of $20,000.00 oash, lawful
money of the United States; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public convenienoe and necessity require the purohase and aoqui-
sition of said paroel of real property for public purposes, and
that the prioe which the owners thereof are willing to acoept i8
reasonable and not out of proportion to the reasonab~e value of
said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Frederiok D. Robinson and
Anna H. Robinson, husband and wife, to sell said property, sit-
uated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, state of Cali-
fornia, desoribed as follows, to wit:
The East 46 feet of the Westerly 86 feet of
House Lot No.2) of Original Anaheim, as per
map thereof recorded in Book 4, Pages 629 and
6)0 of Deeds, Reoords of Los Angeles County,
California.
for the sum of $20,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United states,
be and the same is hereby aooepted, subject to the following terms
and oondi tions:
1. That possession of the house now looated on the
above desoribed property is to be retained by
Frederiok D. Robinson and Anna H. Robinson,
husband and wife, the present owners, for a
period of sixty days from and after the olose
of escrow.
2. That all furniture and fixtures in the dwelling
now on said property, and the vines and shrubs
located thereon, shall remain the personal pro-
perty of the present owners, Frederiok D. Robin-
son and Anna H. Robinson, husband and wife, and
shall be removed on or before 60 days after olose
of escrow.

City of Anaheim free and clear of all enoumbranoes
except all General and Special Taxes for the fisoal
year 1956-57, and taxes whioh are not yet due, in-
cluding special distriot levies, payment of which is
included therein and oolleoted therewith; and all
covenants, oonditions, restrictions, reservations,
rights, rights-of-way, and easements of reoord.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim to sign esorow instruc-
tions for the purchase of said real property and to enter into
an escrow with the owners of said property at All Service
Corporation, 211 East Center Street, Anaheim, California;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer
be, and he is hereby, authorized to draw from the City General
Fund and deposit in escrow at All Service Corporation, 211
East Center Street, Anaheim, California, the sum of Twenty
Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) oash, lawful money of the United
States, to be paid to the owners of said real property when a
deed conveying said property to the City of Anaheim free and
olear of all enoumbrances, exoept as hereinabove set forth,
oan be recorded and a pOlioy of title insuramoe issued by a
reputable title oompany showing said property vested in the
City of Anaheim as hereinabove speoified;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sellers shall
pay the usual and oustomary sellers. charges for furnishing
a pOlioy of title insurance neoessary to show title vested in
the City of Anaheim, as herein provided, and that the City of
Anaheim shall pay the usual buyer.s share in the purohase of
said property.
RESOLUTION NO. 3116, adopted January 31, 1956, is
hereby resoinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 14th day of February, 1956.
