A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIH FINDING AND DETERMINING 'lHAT PUBLIC CON-
VENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROV>>rnNT, TO WIT:
THE IMPROVEMENT OF NORTH CITRON STREET. FROM
f~~TJ. STREET TO SYCAMORE STRElt'T. PROJECT NO.
AmJ"AFPROiTING THE DEs[GNS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAW-
INGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREOF; AU'IRORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT IN ACCOPJ)ANCE WITH SAID PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE CITY CLERK TO FUEL ISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR 'IRE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, publio convenience and neoessity require the
construction and oompletion of a publio improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:
The improvement of North Citron Street, from
North Street to Sycamore Street, by excavation,
paving with 4-inch plant-mix, adjusting existing
manholes to grade, oonstruction of oonorete
oross-gutters, and appurtenant work as indicated
on the plans, Project No. 48.
AND WHEREAS, the City Counoil instructed ~~e E.
~~9ke, Cfft En~eer. to prepare detailed-aesigns,
p-rtlns, pro es, rawings and specifioations, and estimates of
qu~tlties and costs, and make neoessary surveys for the construo-
tion of said publio improvement; and
WHEREAS, said City En~ineer has prepared said detailed
de~igns, plans, profiles, drawings and speoifioations for the con-
struction or said publio improvement and has submitted the same to
the City Counoil; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the detailed de-
signs, plans, proriles, drawings and specifioations for said publio
improvement above mentioned are in acoordance with good engineering
practioe and are adequate to serve the needs and requirements of
the City of Anaheim and the citizens and residents in said area for
th e purpose s for which they are intended, and that they are ade-
quate for the construction of said public improvement and should
be approved.

NOW, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of the
City of Anaheim that the detailed designs, plans, profiles, draw-
ings and specifioations for said public improvement hereinabove
mentioned and described be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted as prepared by said City Engineer .
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public improvement
sha II be construoted in acoordanoe with said detailed designs,
plans, profiles, drawings and specifioations as prepared by said
c~ ..Erils~ eer and hereby approved, and suoh addenda or
mo rlcat ons thereto as may be approved prior to the awar-ding of
bids therefor.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
publish a notioe according to law, inviting seal~ proposals for
the furnishing of all plant, labor, services,. materials and equip-
ment, a~d all utilities and transportation, inol~ding power, fuel
c- and water, and performing all work necessary to oonstruct and oom-
plete in a good and WOrkmanlike manne:r, Jnstr.1ot acoordanoe with
said detailed designs, plans, prOfiles, ~awings and speoifica-
tions as prepared by said Giti En~lneer , the publio improve-
ment hereinabove mentioned an describedi, and fixing the 28th
day of _Feb.!"!:!ary , 1956 , at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M.
as the c.a.ce .lJ.Q hour for tneopening of said bids at the City
Counoil Ch8'1Jly;s in the City Hall il'l the: City of Anaheim, and
that said :;~'~'r.e shall be published twio;e, the first of which
publication.:> ;;1211 be at least ten (10) days prior to the date
fixed for the (;~>)-L.~g of bids, and that said publications shall
