56R-3110 - - RESOLUTION NO. 3110 r , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHAI'GE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN CERTAIN AREAS OF 'fHE Cln. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and a dopted a resolu- tion declaring its intention to ohange the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a tille and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and conduot a pU~c hearing to consider such proposed change of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days follow- ing the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal res~lution its findings of facts and de- clare its opinions and reasons for reoommending an amendment to said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code te effect the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommenda- tion of the City Planning Commission, tne City Council did thereupon fix the 31st day of January, 1956, as the time and the Oounoil Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed ohange of zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as pro- vided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and r WHEREAS, at the time and plaoe fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduot suoh pub- lio hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did reoeive evidenoe and reports, and did thereupon oonsider the recommendations of the City Planning Commiaaion; and WHEREAS, the City Counoil does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in whioh it is now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set forth is more suitable for the zone in which it is now inoorporated and that a ohange of zone should not be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: Starting at a point )0 feet distant from the center- line of North West Street and running Easterly along the Northerly right-of-way line of West La Palma Avenue a distance of )16.97 feet, more or less; thence North- erly parallel to the Easterly right-of-way line of North West Street a distanoe of 120 feet; thence West- erly parallel to the Northerly right-of-way line of West La Palma Avenue a distanoe of 316.97 feet, more or less; thenoe Southerly along the Easterly right-of- way line of North West street to the point of beginning. -1- 1- -5T~sZ-/,j ,- - r , remain in the R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it i8 now incorporated, and that the reclassifioation to R-3, MUL!IPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, as reoommended by the City Planning Oommission in its Resolution No. 110 - Series 1955-56, be denied.
