RESOLUTION NO. 2123
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING A DIRECTOR
AND ALTERNATE DIRECTOR TO REPRESENT THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ON THE BOARDS OF DIRECTORS OF
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICTS NOS. 2 AND 3.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, as now constituted, is
situated partly in County Sanitation District No. 2 and partly in
WHEREAS, Section 4.730 of the Health and Safety Code of
the State of California provides that the presiding officer of
the governing body of each city, the whole or part of which is
included in a sanitation district, is a member of the Board of
Directors of such sanitation district; and
WHEREAS, said Section 4730 of the Health and Safety Code
1411 further provides that the governing body of each city shall select
15one of its members, other than its presiding officer, as an alter.
16lInate director to act as a member of the district board in place of

17 lithe presiding officer of the governing body of such city during
his absence, inability or refusal to act.

19 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
24 THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that the Secretaries of County Sanitation
21 ]Districts Nos. 2 and 3 be notified that Charles A. Pearson is the
22 11Mayor and presiding officer of the City of Anaheim, and, therefore,

23 .j a member of the Boards of Directors of said County Sanitation
24 'Districts Nos. 2 and 3.

2511 AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Robert H. Boney be, and
26 he is hereby selected and appointed as Alternate Director of the
27'dBoards of Directors of County Sanitation Districts Nos. 2 and 3
281to act as a member of the District Boards in place of Charles A.
29'Pearson during his absence, inability or refusal to act.
301 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he
31 is hereby authorized and directed to furnish to County Sanitation
32Districts Nos. 2 and 3 a certified copy of this Resolution for
11 their files and records.
