A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING LOCATION FOR PARKING
METERS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 3 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, AND FIXING THE TIMkE FOR THE
COMMENCEMENT OF THE OPERATION OF SUCH METERS.

71 adopted on July 22, 1952, the Anaheim Municipal Code, and Chapter
81 3 thereof, defining and establishing parking meter zones; providing!
91 for the installation, use and control of parking meters; relating
101 to traffic and regulating use of public streets; and providing for
111 enforcement and penalties for violation thereof; and
12 WHEREAS, the ordinance adopting said Anaheim Municipal
13! Code having been duly published as required by law on the 24th day
141! of July 1952, and said ordinance having taken

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim duly 1
effect on the 22nd day of August, 1952, and said Anaheim Municipal
Code having become effective on said date; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code provides that said
parking meters shall be installed by the City Engineer in such
locations as the City Council of the City of Anaheim shall by
resolution, from time to time, determine and order within the
zones established by said Chapter 3 of said Anaheim Municipal Code.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to install the fol-
lowing number of parking meters at the following location:
EAST CHARTRES STREET
12 meters in the 100 block on
East Chartres Street on both sides j
of the street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the definite location of the
parking meters for the parking spaces described above shall be as
established by Engineers Stationing for each block as shown on the
31 following drawings on file in the Office of the City Engineer
32' of the City of Anaheim:

3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that 9:00 o'clock A. M. of the

day of 1953, is hereby fixed as
5 1 the time for the official commencement of parking meter operations
under Chapter 3 of the Anaheim Municipal Code in the above locationS.
