A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 473.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did receive a petition from the owner of certain
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California. desoribed as follows:
The west 60 feet of the property at the
southwest corner of South Los Angeles
Street and West South Street.
Said property is approximately 6S feet
by 263 feet.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold
a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
December 19, 1955, notices of which said public hearing were
duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section
9200.17 of the Anaheim Munioipal Code; and
WHEREAS. said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in
its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 100-
- Series 1955-56 denying Variance No. 473 for the reasons there-
in stated; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the
date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was
filed with the City Counoil of the City of Anaheim protesting
the action of the City Planning Commission denying said var-
ianoe, and said appeal was set for public hearing on the 24th
day of January, 1956, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall
in the City of Anaheim, and notioe of such public hearing was
duly given as required by law and the proVisions of Section
9200.17 of the Anaheim Munioipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all
evidenoe and reports offered at said hearing held on January
24, 1956, the City Council does find and determine that:
1. There is no substantial property right
possessed by other property in the same
vicinity and zone and denied the subject
property.
2. It appears that the subject property can
be adequately developed and used under the
present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of
the City of Anaheim that the aotion of the City Planning Commis-
sion denying said Petition for Varianoe No. 473, submitted by
C.A. Zimmermang, 120 West South Street. Anaheim, California, re-
questing permission to cut the property hereinabove described
into three lots, be and the same is hereby sustained, and that

Variance No. 473 be, and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 24th day of January, 1956.
