RESOLUTION NO. 2081
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING SALE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A CONVEYANCE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of the herein-
after described real property; and
WHEREAS, said real property is no longer needed for
municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, DONALD R. BATES has made an offer to purchase
said real property for the sum of $8,400.00, payable $2,800.00 in
to accept said offer and sell and convey said real property to
said DONALD R. BATES upon the terms and conditions hereinafter
specified:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE LT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that the offer of DONALD R. BATES to purchase
the hereinafter described real property for the sum of Eight
Thousand Four Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($8,400.00) be accepted
upon the following terms and conditions:
1. $2,800.00 cash to be submitted with the offer and
the balance of $5,600.00 at the close of escrow.
2. That said property shall be sold subject to all con-
ditions, restrictions, reservations, easements and rights of way
of record;
3. That said property is sold upon the condition that
it is to be used for industrial purposes;
4. That said property is sold upon the condition that

said property will be improved in accordance with the plans and

1 specifications submitted with and accompanying the application to
2 purchase said property, and that if the said ourchasers shall fail
3 to comply with the conditionsherein specified, then title to said
4 property shall revert to the City of Anaheim and the ourchase
5 price shall be returned to said purchaser.

8 and completed within a reasonable time thereafter.

A tract of land in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, including a portion of
Lots 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60 of the
Schaffer—Oswald Subdivision as shown on a map thereof
filed in Book 7, page 41, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County and also including a portion of that cer—
tain abandoned street formerly known as Julianna Street
lying between said Lots 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and said
Lots 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60 of said Schaffer—Oswald
Subdivision, said tract cf land being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of East La
Palma Avenue, said point being 30 feet north of the
monumented center line of said East La Palma Avenue and
30.18 feet east of the monumented center line of North
Olive Street; thence northwardly along a line parallel
to the monumented center line of said North Olive Street
a distance of 330 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence continuing northwardly along a line parallel to
said monumented center line of North Olive Street a dis—
tance of 240 feet to a point; thence East along a line
parallel to the north line of East La Palma Avenue a
distance of 200 feet to a point; thence southwardly along
a line parallel to the monumented center line of said
North Olive Street a distance of 240 feet to a point;
thence west along a line parallel to the north line of
East La Palma Avenue a distance of 200 feet to the
point of beginning containing an area of 1.10 acres.
The North Olive Street referred to in the above
description is the North Olive Street conveyed to the
City of Anaheim by deed recorded February 1, 1926, in
Book 625 of Deeds, page 367, Orange County Records.

1 and to deliver said deed into escrow to be delivered to said
2 purchaser upon the completion of said escrow end the payment of
3 the full purchase price as hereinabove provided.
4 The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed
5 to certify a copy of this Resolution and cause the same to be de-
6 livered to the County Recorder of Orange County, together with the
7 deed herein referred to, and said recorder is hereby authorized to
8 record said deed.
