furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for street imrove-

Street to r)rerwe Street, in the City of Anaheim., IHroject No. 31,
together with the appurtenances thereto as set forth. in said
specifications, the notice inviting sealed proposals, the proposal
submitted by said contractor and the terms and provisions of this
resolut on.

contain a provision. that should sale contractor fail to do or
perform thp work as herein provided in the manner herein set forth
in a nod and Torkinlike manner, they shall, in addition. to any
other penalties nro in the contract documents, be liable to
the Cit7 of Anaheim for all loss or damage that the latter may
suffer on account thereof and that said improvement be completed
witbin thirty days from the date of the contract made and
entered Into with said contractor.
