A RESOLUTION OF '!'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AliAHEIM SUPPORTINGARAHJlIM EI&-

WHERF~S, the continued rapid increas$ in population creates an urgent
community responsibility, and
l(mIl1IlIlAS. unless school authorities alte able to provide adequate olas.-
room facilities.for the total student populatiqn, a serious deterrent to the
cOllllllUlli ty well being and orderly progress willresul t, and
WHlIlREAS. the Anaheim :llementary SchoQl District has proposed a two and
one-halt year building program to provide thes~ necessary facilities, and
WHEREAS, the proposed method of financing this building program keep.
the burden of taxation within its present limits, with no increase in elementary
school tax rate contemplated, and
WHEREAS, we believe that the proposal made by the Anaheim :JIIlementary
School District 1s realistic, economically sound, and essential to the community
wlfare:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RllISOLVED that the City Council of the City of
ADaheim gives the proposed bond issue its whole hearted support.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 11th day
of January, 19.56.
