RESOLUTION NO. 3081

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FIKDING THAT NO PROTESTS HAVE BEEN FILED
OR RECEIVED PROTESTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS
OR SIDEWALKS PURSUANT TO THE NOTICE GIVEN AS
DIRECTED IN RESOLUTION NO. 3049, AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO
PROCEED WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS AND SIDE-
WALKS AS NENTIONED IN SAID RESOLUTION NO. 3049.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 20th day of December,
1955, the City Counoil did adopt Resolution No. 3049 instructing
the Superintendent of Streets to post oertain property, notifying
the owners thereof to construct curbs and sidewalks upon and along
certafn streets where sidewalks or ourbs, or both, for a total
frontage of fifty per cent or more on one side of the street, have
already been constructed; and naming the owners of the parcels of
property affected, and c~ntaining a desoription of said parcels;
and
WHEREAS, the lOth day of January, 1956, at the hour of
7:00 ofclock P.M., in the Counoil Chamber in the City Hall was
thereby fixed as the day, hour and plaoe when the City Counoil
would hear and pass uoon objections or protests, if any, which
might be raised by any property owner or other interested persons
to the oonstruction and installation of said curbs and sidewalks;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council did hold and conduct said
hearing on said lOth day of January, 1956, at the hour or 7:00
o'clook P.M., in the Counoil Chamber in the City Hall, for the
purpose of hearing and passing upon all objeotions or protests
to the construction of said ourbs and sidewalks and that at said
time and place no one appeared to object or protest the oonstruct-
ion thereof.
i'TOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil that
they do find and determine that no persons appeared to object or
protest to the construction of said curbs and sidewalks, nor filed
any written protests.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if oonstruotion of said
curbs and sidewalks as specified in the notice given by the Super-
intendent of Streets is not commenced within sixty (60) days after
the giving of said notice and diligently and without interruption
prosecuted to completion, that the Superintendent of Streets shall
cause the construction to be done and the oost of same shall be a
lien on the property of the respective ownernwhere said sidewalks
and curbs are constructed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this lOth day of January , 1956.
