A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

WEER:AS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
had heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its
intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding
of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly
hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such proposed
change of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
fcrmai resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX, Chapter 2
cf the Anaheim I ;unicipal Code to effect the proposed chanr,es of the
boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
':`,IEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix
the 12th day of November 1952 as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did `;ive notio'
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2
,f the Anaheim Eunic ipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
7;H AREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be chanted from the zone in which it
Ls now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set forth, is
more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
thane said property and area and that the inclusion of said pro-
perty and area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of
said property and area and will not depreciate the values of pro-
perty in adjoining zones.
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of. the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
Lot 3 of the Fern Tract, located at 302 North Vest Street.
be changed from an R -1, Single Family Residential Zone
to a n R -2, Two— family Residential
Zone.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to accompi.i.sh
t:ic object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
