purpose of the acquisition and construction by said City
51 of certain municipal improvements, to —wit: Waterworks facilities and electric

7 WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Anaheim wish to publicly ex -1
81 tend their appreciation and thanks to those who gave their time and efforts in the
9 successful conclusion of the Special Bond Election, and
101 WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council also wish to express their thanks for
11, the confidence in the Administration displayed by the generous publicity given
121 by the local newspapers, and Civic Groups who wholeheartedly gave unstintingly ofl
WHEREAS, a Special Bond Election was held in the City of Anaheim
their time and efforts, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council wish to thank the voters who participated.
in the election thereby showing their confidence in the Administration and its
16 policies, and for their constructive interest shown in civic affairs, and
WHEREAS, the successful passage of this Special Bond Election does
enable the City to proceed with their plans and preparations for the extension
and improvement and construction of needed utilities, without which the City of
Anaheim could not prosper.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM does publicly thank those concerned, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes
24 of the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
25 THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was approved and signed by me this 30th day
