CONSTRUCTION OF UNITS I AND II OF THF MAGNOLIA
TRUNK SE"'FR OF THE ORANGF COUNTY JOINT OUTFALL
SEWER.
WHEREAS, V. C. K. Construction Company has filed with the
City of Anaheim a claim for compensation in the
amount of 2,110.00 Dollars for additional rock used
or claimed to have been used by said V. C. K. Construction Company
in the construction of Unit I of the Magnolia Trunk Sewer of the
Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer, and
!nrHERFAS, said V. C. K. Construction Company has filed a
claim with the City of Anaheim for compensation
in the sum of ft 3,933.90 Dollars for additional rock
used or claimed to have been used by said V. C. K. Construction
Company in the construction of Unit II of the Magnolia Trunk
Sewer of the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer, and
of the
does hereby find and determine
that said claims should be rejected for the reason that the use
of said additional rock as used or claimed to have been used by
said V. C. K. Construction Company was not authorized by the con-
tract documents nor used for the purposes or in the manner as pro-
vided in the contract documents made and entered into by and between
said V. C. K. Construction Company and the City of Anaheim as con-
tracting agent for the Cities of Anaheim, Fullerton and Orange,
and the Buena Park, Garden Grove, LaHabra and Placentia Sanitary
Districts.
NOW, THERFFORr, BF IT RESOLVED by the ity Council
of the city of Anaheim that the claims aforesaid
of the V. C. K. Construction Company be, and they are hereby,
rejected.
