T3HERZAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten- tion to change the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of public hearings thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Ordinance No. 774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such proposed change of zone and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and 7 :IERAS, T:rithin a period of forty (40) days following the final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Ordinance to effect the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men- tioned and described; and :fHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 8th day of July 19 52, as the time and the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance No. 7r/4; and /JHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and ERAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from an R -A, Residential- -1- RESOLUTIOiT NO. 1994 Agricultural Zono to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential Zone, is more suitable for a multiple family residential Zone than for combined agricultural and residpn4ales, and that the inclusion of said property and area in an R -3 Zone -1i11 increase the value of said property and area and will not deprecic.te the values of properties in adjoining zones. NC',, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLD by the City Council of the "ity of Anaheim that all of the pronerty and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cciifornia, described as follows, to-?'it: The area located between North Palm Street, West Romneya Drive, westerly City Limits, and West La Palma Avenue. be clean ed from an R-A Residential Agricultural to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential Zone. Zone IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an amendment to Ordinance -o. 774 to amend said Ordinance to accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
