'7H AS, tho City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did_ heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten-
tion to change the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
eescribecl and did fix a time and place for the holding of public
hearings thereon in the iianner and as prescribed in Ordinance Yo.
774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two public
hearings to consider such aroposed change of zone and did receive
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
TTithin a period of forty (40) days follo? the
final hearing t i.ereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amendment to said Ordinance to effect
the proposed chenges of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men-
tioned and d _.scribed; and
R AS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Co Imission, the City Council slid thereupon fix
the 10th day of June 19 52, as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance i;o, 774; and
7H?EAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearin`;,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did ;give all parsons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidence send reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
1:;H REAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
.property and area proposed to be changed from a n R -2, Two- Family
-1-
Residential Zone to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone, is more suitable for an R-
Zone than for two- family residential purposes, and that the
inclusion of said property and area in an R -3 Zone will increase
the value of said property and area and will not depreciate the
values of properties in adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to -lit:

ilt Residential
The area beginning at the Northeast corner of the
Alley east of So. Claudina Street, at East Vermont
Avenue, extending Easterly along East Vermont Avenue
a distance of 336.38 feet; thence Northerly a distance
of 428.34 feet, more or less; thence Westerly a dis-
tance of 336.38 feet; thence Southerly a distance of
428.34 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
be chanced from an R -2, Two Family Residential Zone
to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone.
IT TURTHER RESOLVED that the City :attorney be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Ordinance :o. 774 to amend said Ordinance to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
nnd proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by ma this
