HE,R3AS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten- tion to chan;:e the boundaries of the zone hereinafter :Mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of public hearings thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Ordinance Fo. 774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such proposed change of zone and did receive evidence a'.lc1 reports from persons interested therein; and '1' ER AS, ?-*ithin a period of forty (40) days follolain the final hearing t_.ereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by for,aal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Ordinance to effect the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men- tioned and d.scribc C and R: AS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Co.Amission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 10th day of June 19 52, as the time and the Council Chambers in the City Hail of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said ;proposed change of zone and did E,ive notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance No, 774; and ':THEI E.1S, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing; and did r;ivo all persons interested therein alai opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports a did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and UH R AS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area .proposed to be changed from an R -A, Residential- AGricultural Zono to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential Zone, is more suitable for an R -3, Multiple Family Residential Zone than for agricultural and residential purposes, ana that the inclusion of said property and area in an R -3 Zone will increase the value of said property and area and will not depreciate the values of properties in adjoining zones. 'MU, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of knaheini that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of CLlifornia, described as follows, to -wit: The area bounded by West Broadway, South Citron Street, West Santa Ana Street and South Palm Street. be changed from an R -A, Residential- Agricultural Zone to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential Zone. -2- E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an amendment to Ordinance No. 774 to amend said Ordinance to accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
