Roden, A. B. C. Dubach. Edmond Urbano, R. P. Allen, Lester Mitchell, Mrs. R. E. Miller. W. H. Landon, Mrs. 0. H. Anderson Mr. Fred Thuerer and Mrs. Mary Ann Thuerer have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting t %he consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the commence•- ;.ent of proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating that said territory is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and WHEREAS the City Council does find and determine that it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim and to the qualified electors residing within said territory to permit the above named proponents to commence proceedings for the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the conditions herein after set forth. row, THEREFORE, EE IT R..TSOLVM by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be, and it is hereby, given to said proponents to commence proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the following conditions; First: That said proponents shall obtain the approval of the County Boundary Commission before publishing a notice of intent- ion to circulate a petition for the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim. Second: That no petition be circulated for the annexation of said territory until after notice of intention to circulate such petition has been published as required by law and a copy of such notice and an affidavit of publication has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10) days after the date o:: publication of said notice, and a resolution has been adopted by City Council of the City of Anaheim acknowledging receipt of sL -1- notice and ap the circulation of said petition. Thin.: That the circulation of any petition for the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim shell not be com- menceduntil twenty-one (21) days after the publication of said notice of intention to circulate the same. The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the City of Anaheim are described as follows Beginning at a point on the existing easterly City Limit Lire, said point being at the intersection of the South right -of -way line of La Palma Avenue and the east property line of Lot 1 of Original Tract No. 153, filed in Book 11 Page 46, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County and a distance of 1669 ft. more or less East of the monumented center line of East Street; thence eastwardly 1344 feet more or less along said South right -of -way line of La Palma Avenue to the intersection of the southerly extension of the East line of the WI of the W,- of the SE of Section 2, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base Meridian and the South right -of -way line of said La Palma Avenue; thence northwardly along the said East line of the WI of WW of SE of said Section 2 and its southerly extension to the northeast property oorner of Lot 18 of said Golden State Tract No. 2 and the North line of St of the N2 of SI of said Section 2; thence westwardly a distance of 3300 feet more or less to the West Section Line of said Section 2; thence continuing westwardly a distance of 30 feet more or less along the north line of the SI of Nj of SEi of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian to the West right -of -way line of Raymond Avenue; thence northwardly along said West right -of -way line of Raymond Avenue a distance of 2610 feet more or less to the South right -of -way line of Orangethorpe Avenue; thence westwardly along said South right-of-way line of Orangethorpe Avenue a distance of 1300 feet more or less to the north and south existing City Limit Line; thence southwardly along existing City Limit Line a distance of 4436 feet more or less to the monumented center line of La Palma Avenue said center line also being the existing City Limit Line; thence Eastwardly continuing along existing City Limit Line 2755.17 ft. more or less to a point of intersection of the said City Limit Line and the west property line of original Lot 1 of the said Tract Number 153; thence southwardly 31.26 feet more or less to the south right -of -way line of La Palma Avenue and the existing Gity Limit line; thence eastwa.rdly continuing along existing City Limit Line 536.46 feet to the point of beginning.
