WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity require the acqui-

essity require the acouisition for said public improvement of all of
the existing improvements located within the boundaries of said pro-
perty at anytime within one hundred and twenty (120) days after an

purpose
of removing all of said existing improvements, and
WHEREAS, said proposed public improvement is planned and

--located in a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest
public good and the least private injury.
23 NOW, THERE7CRE!, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
24 City of Anaheim, that the City Attorney' of the City of Anaheim be,
25 and he Is hereby, authorized and impowered:
To acquire, in the name of the City of Anaheim, a feesimelc
estate in and to the said hereinafter described real property, or
interest in real proi)erty, by condemation in accordance with the
provisions of the c'overnment Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and the

acquisition.
To make application to said court for an order fixing the
amount of such security in the way of money deposit as said court

proving and using seid real property as a public improvement;
namely, a public parkin lot or area to relieve trsffic eonjestion
and the shortage of parking area or spaces within the business sec-
tion of the city:
To make deposit of such security out of proper funds under
the control of said City, in such amount so fixed and determined,
and in such manner as said court in which such condemnation proceed-I
