WHYS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, on March 13, 1951, adopted
Resolution No. 1831 requesting aid to the City in the amount of Fourteen Thousand
Three Hundred Fifty three and 01 /100 Dollars ($14,353.01) out of the County =s
apportionment of the California Highway Users f Tax bind for the improvement of
South Palm Street as per detailed plans; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, on April 10, 1951, found and determined such
improvement to be of general County interest, and said request was granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim hereby finds that the work as proposed for the Improvement of South
Palm Street,as hereinabove referred to, has been completed and said work is hereby
accepted.
That the cost of said work was Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Fourteen and 78/140
Dollars ($7,814.78), and request is hereby made to the County of Orange that the
City be reimbursed in the sum of Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Fourteen and 78/100
Dollars ($7,814.76) from the grant of $14,353.01 made to it by the Board of Super-
visors on April 3, 1951, and that the balance of Six Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-
eight and 23/100 Dollars ($6,538.23) be cancelled from the present grant and be
made available for reprogramming and which is to be used for the regrading and oil
ing of the south half of East Sycamore Street from the present city limit line to
Placentia Avenue and also for the regrading and oiling of West Vermont Avenue from
Palm Street to Los Angeles Street and East Vermont Avenue from Los Angeles Street
to Olive Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be, and he
is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California.
THE FOBEGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 8th day of April,
1952.
