public purposes, to-wit: an easement for the construction, oper-

WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the Oity of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no/100 (1.00) Dollar; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that

it is for the benefit and best interests of the City of Anaheim to

accept said offer and purchase said real property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

City of Anaheim, that the offer of John W. Truxaw and Louise
Truxaw, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
1 County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly de-

CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIY CERTAIN
REAL PROPE7,TY FOR AY EASEMENT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
OF PUBLIC UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desir-
ous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
25 Beginning at a point 61 feet east of the easterly
property line of South Lemon Street; thence running
26 1 eastwardly a distance of 245.53 feet, more or less,
to the easterly line of said Lot 1, Tract 1054,
27 1 said center line being 142 feet south of the center
line of Valencia Avenue and parallel thereto.
