A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR THE WIDENING OF WILHELMINA STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public
purposes, to -wit: For the purpose of widening Wilhelmina Street;
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell said
hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim for the
sum of Thirty One Hundred Dollars (:73100.00) and to move the
building now upon said property back onto the property retained by
the owner, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds and
determines that the public interest and necessity require the
acquisition of said property for the purpose of widening and open
ing Iilhelmina Street between Palm Street and Citron Street, and
that it is for the benefit and best interest os the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of Ruth Jefferson Rust to sell to
22 the City of Anaheim the following described real property, situated
23 in the City of Anaheim,, County of Orange, State of California, and

more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
A parcel of land 16* feet in width lying between
Lot A-6 and Lot B-6 of Anaheim Vineyard Lots as
shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and
630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, Cal-
ifornia, and extending from the Westerly line of
North Palm Street to the Easterly line of North
Citron and containing an area of .42 acres more
or less.
RESERVING therefrom however to the Grantor all
mineral rights,
for the sure of Thirty One Hundred (3100.00) Dollars be, and the
same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim

1 upon condition that the said. Ruth Jefferson Rust remove the build-

ing now on said property within 30 days from date hereof, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim accept a
conveyance of said real property and that the City Treasurer of the
City of 4naheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to said
Ruth Jefferson Rust, out of the General Funds of the City of Ana—
heim, the sum of $3100.00 in full therefor, when a policy of title
insurance is obtained from a reputable title company in the County
of Orange, at the City's expense, showing said Ruth Jefferson Rust
to be the owner of said property and able to convey the same to the
City of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances, except taxes
for the fiscal year 1952 53, and
BE IT, FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to record said deed in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
