A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTH.ORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY TO THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR A
3 MUNICIPAL COURT SITE.
4 WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is acquiring the hereinafter
5 described real property, together with other real property situated
6 within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, Orange County,
7 California, and
RESOLUTION NO. 1928
WHEREAS, the County of Orange is desirous of purchasing from
the City of Anaheim that portion of said property more particularly
hereinafter described for use as a municipal court site for the
municipal court of Anaheim and Northern Orange County, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the
portion of said property which the County of Orange is desirous of
acquiring at the present time is not now needed for other public
uses by the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find and determine
that the establishment of a municipal court upon the property here-
inafter described will be to the advantage and for the best interest
of the City of Anaheim, and for the people residing in said City
and surrounding area, and would be a beneficial public use of said
property, and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has offered to purchase the
hereinafter described real property for the sure of ;;:7,256.94, cash,
lawful money in the United States of America.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of the County of Orange to purchase,
for the sum of 7, 256.94, cash, lawful money in the United States
of America, all that certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:

A portion of Lots 13, 21, 23, 25, 27 and 29 of the
Anaheim Home Tract, as shown on a map filed in Book 6,
Page 34 of Miscellaneous Maps of the County of Orange,
filed July 14, 1910 and being a subdivision of Lot 14,
Miles Rancho as shown in Book 4, Page 7, Miscellaneous
Maps of the County of Orange, surveyed June 6, 1910,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is on the northerly'
lime of Lot 21, Anaheim Home Tract, and 10 feet
westerly from the westerly line of Homer Street
measured at right angles; thence South 291 feet
more or less along a line parallel to and 10
feet distant from the westerly line of Homer
Street to a point on the northeasterly line of
North Los Angeles Street; thence N -59° -02 -W
170 feet along the northeasterly line of North
Los Angeles Street to a point; thence North
205 feet more or less to a point on the north
line of Lot 13; thence N -89 -E 146 feet more
or less along and on the extension of the north-
erly line of Lot 21, Anaheim Home Tract, to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted and that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute for and on
behalf of the City of Anaheim a Grant Deed conveying the hereinabove
described real property, free and clear of all encumbrances except
taxes for the fiscal year 1952 53, conditions, restrictions,
easements, reservations and rights of way of record.,.and to place
said deed in escrow at the Reliance Title Company in Santa Ana, Cal-
2 0 ifornia, to be delivered to the County of Orange when the acquisi-
21 Lion of the title to said property by the City of Anaheim has been
22 completed and upon payment by the County of Orange, through escrow
23 at said Reliance Title Company, of the sum of $7,256.94; and
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim pay the
usual and customary seller's title and escrow charges and furnish
26 to the County of Orange a policy of title insurance in the usual
27 form, issued by the Reliance Title Company of Santa Ana, California,
28 showing such property fixed in the City of Anaheim as hereinabove
29 set forth..
