5 WHEREAS, Melvin F. Stevens and Nina M. Stevens are the owners
6 of the hereinafter described real property situated within the
7 corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, Orange County, California;

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUF
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
ANT ACQUISITION OF CFRTAIT! REAL PROPrRTY
FOR PUBLIC PTTRPOSFS.
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell said
necessary public uses and that the price which the owners thereof
are willing to accept for said property is reasonable and not out
of proportion to the reasonable market value of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHFIM that the offer of Melvin E. Stevens and Nina M.
Stevens, husband and wife, to sell all that certain real property
situated in the ]ity of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
All that real property situate in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orane, State
of California, described as follows:
Lots 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25,
27 and 29 of Anaheim Home Tract, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as per map thereof recorded in Book 6, at
Page 34 of Miscellaneous =daps, records of
said Orange County,
for the sum of Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred and no /100
(14,500.00) Dollars be, and the same is hereby, accepted. and that
the deed tendered by said owners be accepted.
AND RE IT FL THTR RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be, and

2 title cornpa y in the County of Orange, State of California, the

when such title company can issue its policy of title insurance,
slowing said property to be vested in the City of Anaheim, free
and clear of all encumbrances, except taxes for the fiscal year
1951 -1952 and conditions, restrictions, easements, reservations
and rihts of way of record that the balance of the purchase
price, together with the fees and title charges properly chargeable
to the City of Anaheim, shall b e deposited in e scrow by the City
Treasurer and said title company authorized to record said deed
and issue its policy of title insurance when it can shoe the title
to said property vested in the City of Anaheim as aforesaid.
BE IT FTJR THER RESOLVED that the sellers shall pay the usual
and customary sellers' charges for furnishing a policy of title
insurance necessary to show said title vested in the City of
Anaheim as hereinabove provided.
