1952-19141 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO./ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AN APPLICA- TION TO BE MADE TO THE FEDERAL CIVIL DE- FENSE ADMINISTRATION FOR CERTAIN EQUIP- MENT TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM UNDER ITS CIVIL DEFENSE ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore adopted a Civil Defense Ordinance to coordinate the Civil Defense activities of the City of Anaheim with the Civil Defense Administration of the State of California and the Federal Civil Defense Admini- stration; and WHEREAS, the United States Government in the 1951 Third Supplemental Appropriation Act (Public Law 45, 82nd Con- gress) has provided for federal contributions to the States, on a matching basis, for training and education for Civil De- fense, as outlined in Federal Civil Defense Administration Advisory Bulletin Noe 68 dated September 19, 1951,; and WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find and determine that the hereinafter described personal property and equipment are needed by the City of Anaheim for training, education and equipment of persons in the Civil Defense program, and that it is necessary and would be to the advantage and for the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Anaheim and the proper administration of the Civil Defense program of the City of Anaheim that the hereinafter described personal property and equipment be obtained for the purposes herein specified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that Keith A.
