A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION
AND ABANDONMENT OF AN ALLEY AND AN RASE-
MENT FOR ALLEY PURPOSES UPON, OVER AND
ALONG A STRIP 16 FEET WIDE AND 188.25

THEREOF RECORDED IN BOOK 32, PAGE 35,
MISCELLANEOUS YAPS, RECORDS OF ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, a munici-
pal corporation of the State of California, did on the 2Wh day of
Decembei4) 19'51, pass its Ordinance .No 793 en-
titled "AN ORDINANCE DECEARIN2 THE INTENTION OF THE' CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO VACATE AND ABANDON A ALLEY AND AN EASE-
ENT FOR ALLEY PURPOSES UPON, OV".tk AND ALONG A STRIP 16 FEET WIDE
AND ND 188.25 FEET IN LENGTH LOCATED BETWEEN LOTS 1 AND 2 OF TRACT
525 AS SHOWN ON A MAP TNERFOF RECORDED IN BOOK 32, PAGE 35, MISCEL-
LANEOUS MPS, RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA .1 D FIXING A

NOTICES THETEOF AND THF PTJ OF THIS ORDINANCE" whereby
it declared its intention to vacate and abandon and close to public
use an alley and an easement for alley purposes upon, over and alon
a strip 16 feet wide and. 188.25 feet in length, located between
Lots 1 and 2 of Tract 525 as shown on a map thereof recorded in
Book 32, Page 35, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; and
WHEREAS, said City Council, in said. Ordinance, referred to
on file in the office of the City Clerk for further particula
as to the proposed vacation, abandonment and closing to public use
of said alley and easement for alley purposes; and
WHEREAS, said City Council did by said. Ordinance fix the'

ing to public use of said alley and easement for alley purposes
for all persons interested in or objecting to such proposed vaca-
tion, abandonment and closing to public use to appear and show
cause, if any they have, why such alley and easement for alley
purposes should not be vacated, abandoned, and closed to public
use; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was published on December 28,
19 51, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheim, Orange
County, California; and
WHEREAS, by said Ordinance said City Council directed that
notices, the passage of said Ordinance and of time and place of the
hearing of the matter of the vacation, abandonment and closing to
public use of said alley and easement for alley purposes be posted
conspicuously along the line of said alley not more than 300 feet
apart and not less than three such notices should be posted; and
WHEREAS, George E. Holyoke, City Engineer and Superintendent
of Streets, did on Decpxnber '31
19_51, post conspicuously
4 such notices along the line of said alley and easement for
alley purposes, which notices were posted less than 300 feet
apart; and
22 WHEREAS, said City Council did on January 22
23 1952, at 8 :00 o'clock P.M. at said City Hall conduct a public
24 hearing on the matter of whether said alley and easement for alley
25 purposes should be vacated, abandoned and closed to public use,
26 and at said hearing did hear evidence thereon.
27 NOW, THEREFORE, 3B IT RFS0LVBD BY THE' CITY COURTCIL 07 THE
28 CITY OF AITAHEIM;
29 1. That it finds the recitals hereinbefore set forth in
30 this resolution to be true;
31 2. That it finds from all the evidence submitted that said
32 alley and easement for alley purposes, described in said Ordinance
are unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes.

3. That it does hereby order that said alley and easement
for alley purposes be, and they are hereby, vacated, abandoned
and closed to public use.
4. That the said alley and easement for aley purposes
herein ordered vacated, abandoned and closed to public use, are
those described in said Ordinance No. 793 are situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and are
more particularly described as follows:
