ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1909 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT AN AMENDMENT TO CITY ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 774. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten- tion to change the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of public hearings thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Ordinance No. 774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two pub- receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its reasons and opinions for recommending an amendment to said Ordinance to effect the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone herein- after mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 8th day of January, 1952, as the time and the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice there- of in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance No. 774; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hear- ing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consid- er the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from an R-1 Single Family —1— 1 Residential Zone to an M -1 Light Manufacturing Zone is more suitable 2 1 for a light manufacturing zone than for single family residential 1 1 3 purposes, and that the inclusion of said property and area in an 4 jM -1 Zone will increase the value of said property and area and will 5 not depreciate the values of properties in adjoining R -1 Zones. 6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 7 City of Anaheim, that all of the property and area situated in the 8 j City of Anahei0, County of Orange, State of California, described 9 I! as follows, to —wit: 10 11 12 13 �1 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 32 CITY OF ANAHEIM 204 E. M. and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west side of Euclid Avenue, said point being 660.16 feet Northerly from the monumented center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence continuing northwardly along the west line of said Euclid Avenue a distance of 285.4 feet to a point on the southwesterly line of SPRR R/W; thence north 56° 45' 50" 'l 1548.37 feet along said SPRR R /W to a point on the west line of the East 1 of the Southeast 4 of said Section 8; thence S 0° 08' 36" E a distance of 1124.43 feet along said west line of the east of the southeast i of said Section 8 to a point; thence S 89° 34' 28" E a distance of 1293.6 feet to the point of beginning, and containing an area of 21.115 acres more or less. be changed from an R -1 Single Family Residential Zone to an M -1 Light Manufacturing Zone.
