A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH MERCHANTS NATIONAL REALTY
CORPORATION TO PURCHASE AND LEASE CERTAIN LANDS
AND BUILDINGS AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Merchants National Realty Corporation owns
real property, buildings and appurtenances located at the inter-
section of Lincoln Avenue and Claudina Street in the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Merchants National Realty Corporation desires
to sell such real property, buildings and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to acquire the real property,
buildings and appurtenances for use as municipal offices and
parking; and
WHEREAS, said real property, buildings and appurten-
ances are located on the west side of Claudina Street directly
across from City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim ~s
determined that it would be in the best interest of the City to
acquire said real property, buildings and appurtenances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
Agreement with Merchants National Realty Corporation to purchase
and lease certain real property, buildings and appurtenances be,
and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said Agreement for and on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day of August, 1972.
