72R-312 l'tfIII"I"""'- RESOLUTION NO. 72R-a12 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 25th day of July , 19 72 , and continued to the day of , 19 ,as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the resommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as hereinafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated, and that a change of zone should not be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: .<- -1- 71-72-42 PARCEL 1: ,~<'----. That portion of Block 25 of the Golden State Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali- fornia, as per map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly line of the 115.00 foot strip of land described in Parcel 106.01 in the deed to the Orange County Flood Control District recorded June 14, 1961, in Book 5752, page 350, Official Records, with the Southeasterly line of the land described in Parcel 1 in the deed to Holly Wade Davidson, recorded March 18, 1955, in Book 3000, page 254, Official Records; thence Northeasterly along said Southeasterly line to the most Easterly corner of the land described in the deed to Holly Wade Davidson recorded April 4, 1968, in Book 8563, page 67, Official Records, thence along the boundary of said land North 300 13' 21" West 177.30 feet and South 740 32' 28" West 45.75 feet to a point in the Southerly line of the land described in the deed to the State of California, recorded June 4, 1963, in Book 6573, page 167 Official Records; thence along said Southerly line South 740 32' 28" West 46.49 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northerly having a radius of 471.99 feet; thence Westerly along said curve and along said Southerly line to the intersection of said curve with the Northwesterly line of said Block 25; thence Southwesterly along said North- westerly line to the Easterly line of said 115.00 foot strip; thence Southerly along said Easterly line to the point of begin- ning. Parcel 2: That portion of the 20.00 acre parcel of land delineated as Lot 24 in Block K of the Kramer Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 12, page 87 of Miscellaneous Record Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of Los An~eles County, California, bounded westerly by the easterly line of the westerly 443.7 feet of said Lot 24; bounded north- easterly by the southwesterly line of the land described in deed to the State of California recorded June 4, 196, in Book 6573, page 167, of Official Records and bounded southeasterly by the southeasterly line of said Lot 24, being also the northwesterly line of Lot 25 of the Golden State Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County of Orange. remain in the R-A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now incorpora- ted, and that the reclassification to M-l, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, be denied, as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
