RESOLUTION NO. 72R-302
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANNiEIM ACCEPTING A GRfu'\1T DEED AND AUTHORIZ-
ING PAYMENT THEREFOR (LIBRARY SITE - SOUTH
EUCLID AVENUE) .
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore authorized
the purchase of property at 1344 South Euclid Avenue, Anaheim,
California, for use by the City as a library site; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's office is in possession
of a deed to said property together with the title documents in
connection therewith; and
WHEP~AS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City to purchase said property for a total
consideration of $26,000 to be disbursed as in this Resolution
set forth.
NOW, THEP~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahellu that it accept, and it does hereby accept,
that certain grant deed dated July 7, 1972, signed by D. M.
Gardner and Martha Manuel Gardner, covering the following
described real property:
The north 70.00 feet of the west 208.00 feet of the
North half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, partly in the Rancho Los Bolsas and partly in
the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per map
recorded in Book. 51, page 10; Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County.
BE IT FURThER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to draw City warrants
in the following amounts and payable to the following parties:
Tom Key Realty, Inc.
Republlc Title Companv
D. M. Gardner and
Martha Manuel Gardner
$1,560.00
50.00
24,390.00
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each of the above-
mentioned warrants be forwarded to the office of the Citv
Attorney for transmlttal and charged to the Council contingency
Fund.
