A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREE.~NT WITH RICHARD E. AND MA,RG1\RET
A. DUFFY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, City owns approximately 1.49 acres abutting
Harbor Boulevard and between the Jolly Roger Motel as it now
exists and a parcel of land leased to Royal Inns of America,
Inc. by City; and
WHEREAS, Richard E. and Margaret A. DUffy, hereinafter
referred to as Lessees, own and operate Jolly Roger Motel; and
WHEREAS, Lessees desire to lease said 1.49 acres of
land for purposes of enlarging its existing motel operation~ and
vffiEREAS, City is of the opinion that the best interests
of the City of Anaheim would be served by leasing said parcel of
property to Lessees; and
vnIEREAS, said parcel of property is not needed for
other municipal purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditiOilS of said agree-
ment submitted herewith be, and they are hereby approved.
BE IT' FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
