RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 280

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANS-
PORTATION COMPANY FOR INSTALLATION OF PRO-
TECTIVE DEVICES. (CROSSING NO. BK-510.9-
VERMONT STREET)
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Transportation Company,
a corporation, has tendered to the City of Anaheim an agreement
for the installation of rail pre-empted traffic signals at the
intersection of Olive and Vermont Streets, over tracks and
property of Railroad, at or near East Anaheim, in the County of
Orange, State of California, (Crossing No. BK-510.9)i and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it would be
in the best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter into said
agreement with the Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of July, 1972.
