WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, on March 14, 1950, adopted
Resolution No. 1725 requesting aid to the City in the amount of $14,822.33 out of
the County's apportionment of the California Highway Userst Tax Fund for the im-
provement of Lemon Street in said City as per detailed plans; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, on March 21, 1950, found and determined such
improvement to be of general County interest, and said request was granted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and ordered, that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim hereby finds that the work as proposed for the improvement of Lemon
Street as hereinabove referred to has been completed and said work is hereby
accepted.
That the cost of said work was $13,750.32 and request is hereby made to the
County of Orange that the City be reimbursed in the sum of $13,750.32 from the
grant of $14,822.33 made to it by the Board of Supervisors on March 21, 1950, and
that the balance of $1,072.01 be cancelled from the present grant and be made avail-
able for reprogramming as an addition to the next succeeding similar grant from the
County which is to be used for the resurfacing of South Palm Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be, and he
is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 13th day of March,
1951.
