A RESOLUEION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OZ THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AS CONTRACTING AGENT FOR THE CITIES
OF .ANAHLIM, FULLER= AND ORANGE AND THE BUENA
PARK, GARDEN GROVE, LA HABRA. AND PLACENTIA
SANITARY DISTRICTS AUTHORIZING, APPROVING AND.
RATIFYING THE EMPLOYMENT OF ASSISTANT ENGINEERS
INSP2ZTORS AND OTHER .pascIrs TO AID AND ASSIST
NAT H. NEFF TO DO THE INSPECTION AND SURVEYING
ON THE MAGNOLIA TRUNK SEWER, PUMPING PLANT A7D
FORCE MAIN AND PROJECT AND FIXING THEIR
COMPENSATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim as contract-
ing agent for the Cities of Anaheim, Fullerton and Orange and the
Buena Park, Garden rove, La. Habra and Placentia Sanitary Districts
has heretofore adopted Resolution No. 1615 employing Nat H. Neff
as Chief 8nineer in chare of surveyin and inspection during the
construction of the Magnolia Trunk Sewer and Pumping Plant and
Force an and Project; and
wHEas, the Cities of Anaheim, Fullerton and Orange and the
Buena Park, Garden, Grove, La Habra and Placentia Sanitary Districts
have adopted resolutions authorizing and ratifying the er.Iployment
of said Nat H. Neff as Cl.liefiia;;kAgqr,in charge of surveying and
inspection durin the period o± construction of the Magnolia Trunk
Sewer and Pumping Plant and Force Main and Project; and
WHEREAS,

the City oounciE finds thab the T)ublic interest
necessity and convenience requires the employment of additional
enineers, surveyors and other persons to enable said Nat H. Neff
to carry out and perform fully and adequately the work of Inspect-
in and surveying said Magnolia Trunk Sewer Project; End
WHEREAS, said Nat H. Neff has employed the following persons
at the Eollowing compensation, subject to the aporoval by the
City Engineer and the City 'Council of the City 02 Anaheim as such
contracting 'agent:

resolved by the City Council of the City
Anaheim as contracting agent for said Cities and Sanitary 1
Districts hereinabove mentioned, that the employment of the above
'named persons in the capacity and for the compensation hereinabove
set forth be and the same is hereby approved and their compensation
is hereby fixed in theamount hereinabove set forth; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the employment of Field Parties
from the office of J. R. Lester Boyle Civil Engineering Company of
Santa. Ana, California, for the sum of Eighty Eig,ht Dollars (88.00)
per day plus transportation to and from their office in Santa Ana
to the place where the work is to be performed by them, be and the
same is hereby authorized, aproved and ratified; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Nat H. Neff be and he is
hereby authorized to employ from time to tine such additional
persons to assist him in carryime out and performing the work of
surveying and inspection as may be reasonably necessary to enable
him to adequately do and perform said work, subject, however, to the
approval of the City Engineer and City Council of the City of
Anaheim acting as the contracting agent for said Cities and Sanitary
Districts.
'THE FOREGOIN RESOLUTION is approved and signecl by me this
/t7 day of February, 1951.
