RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, Anaheim Gardens, a corporation, as Owner of
certain real property situated at 1200 -1222 East Center Street, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, describe
as Lots 1 5 inclusive, Tract 0o. 1120, has filed with the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim a petition requesting
that a variance be granted permitting it to erect a Super Market
on Lots 2 and 3, with tentative buildin dimensions 50 feet by 80
feet; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions
do exist as to the property or c of uses in the same zone or
district;
(2) That a v is necessary for the °reserv
and enjoyment of a substantial oroo :rty right of said ?)etitioner;
(3) That the g;rantinn of such conditione1 variance
will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the
nropertt: or improvements in the distrct wnerein raid oroperty is
located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied
with:

to erect a Super Market on Lots 2 and 3, with tentative building
dimensions 50 feet by 80 feet, upon the following conditions:
1. That all Products for sale must be kept in the building;
and no out -door display of merchandise s-all be allowed.
2. That parking; shall be in conformity with the new

Proposed Ordinance, namely, that not less than 66-2/3 of the lots
must be devoted to parking! facilities.
_7.. The oarkinR areas must be hard surfaced.
4. That said business shall be operated in accordance
with all laws of the State of Cclifornia and. Ordinances and Regula-
tions of the City of Anaheim.
5. That the appearafce of said real property, including
all building's thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satisfactory
appearance in keeping 7ith the uses herein permitted.
6. That the maintenance and operation of said building
shall comoly Tith all reouirements of the Chief of the Fire Depart-
ment of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention.
7. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to
revoke said variance oermit for god cause.
