tofore adopted Resolution No. 1779 accepting the sealed proposal
of the Amerioan Pipe and Con truction Company for the furnishing
of Conorete Pipe as specified in the Notice Inviting Sealed
Proposals and awarding a oontraot to said American Pipe and
Construction Company for the furnishing of said Concrete Pipe
in the amounts and for the prices as specified in said Resolution,
to which reference is hereby made, and
WHEREAS, the City Council in awarding said contract to said
Amerion Pipe and Construction Company did reserve the right to
call for the delivery of only so much of the 5,000 linear feet of
39" dieter Concrete Pipe as it may at its discretion, as such

PIPE UNDER CONTRACT WITH !ARICAN PIPE
AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
contracting agent, deter ine will be needed in said Magnolia
Trunk Sewer Project, and
HEREAS, the City Council of the Qtty of Anaheim finds that
the 5,000 linear feet of 39" dieter 2/3 lined Concrete Pipe
specified in said Resolution No. 1779 and the contract made and
enter d into with the American Pipe and Construction Company,
will be needed and required in the construction of said Magnolia
Trunk Sewer Project, and that in addition thereto there will be
needed 1,640 feet of said pipe to b- delivered to the contractor
or contractors to whom are awarded the contracts for the con—
struction of said Magnolia Trunk Sewer Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

on the 2nd day of January, 1951, and.
IT FURTHER lasoLvLD that said American Pipe and Construct-
ion Company be requested to furnish the City of Anaheim with a
letter stating whether or not it will furnish to the contraotor
or contractors to whom are awarded contracts for the oonstructt
of the nolia S Project an additional 1,640 feet of 39"
diameter 2/3 lined Comer te Pipe as specified in said Resolution
and Agreement at the same price, and that the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
notify the Amerioan Pipe and Construction Company of the election
of the City of Anaheim to call for th; delivery of said 5,000
feet of Concrete Pipe kbove mentioned and to request from said
American Pipe and. Construction Company a commitment for an ad-
ditional 1,640 feet of said pipe, and that he send certified copy
of this Resolution to said Amerioan .'ipe and Construction Company.
TEE FOREGOING RESOLUTION IS approved and signed by me this
9th day of January 1951.
