72R-248 RESOLUTION NO. 72R-248 -- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIJ:.l DEDICATING CERTAIN CITy-oNNED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore acquired certain real property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for public purposes; and WHEREAS, said property is known as the underpass of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway at the Lewis Street crossing in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, it is indicated and anticipated that the City of Anaheim will dedicate a certain portion of City-owned property for public purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to dedicate a portion of its City-owned property for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it dedicate, and it does hereby dedicate, as an easement for road and public utility purposes the following described land situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes, and for the construction and maintenance of slope areas over, under and across that portion of the East half of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: ,~--"-" Beginning at the northeast corner of Parcel One described in the deed recorded December 21, 1970, in Book 9496, page 355, records of said Orange County; thence S 890 44' 31" W, 58.00 feet; thence S 40 27' 3D" W, 291.79 feet to an intersection with the northeasterly right of way line of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, said point of intersection being in a curve in said railroad right of way concave northeasterly and having a radius of 5,679.65 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve being a portion of the northeasterly right of way line of said railroad through a central angle of 10 57' 07" an arc distance of 193.41 feet to an intersection with the centerline of Lewis Street; thence N 00 IS' 29" W, 465.86 feet along the centerline of Lewis Street to the point of beginning.
