RESOLUTION OF .,11E CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE, CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR FORNISHING 18"
10-GAUGE WELDED STEEL PIPE, STEEL
"DRESSER" TYPE COUPLINGS FOR STEEL
PIPE, 2 ELECTRIC MOTORS 2 SEWAGE PUMPS.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the contracting agent for
the Cities of Anaheim, Orange and Fullerton, and for the Sanitary
Districts of Buena Park, Garden Grove, La Habra and Placentia; and
WHEaFAS, said Cities and Sanitary Districts have heretofore
Anaheim to act as contracting agent for, and on behalf of said
Cities and Sanitary Districts in the construction of said Magnolia
Trunk Sewer Project, and authorizing said City of Anaheim as such co
tracting agent, to advertise for bids for the purchase of materials,
and for bias for the construction of said Magnolia Trunk Sewer Pro-
ject, and to award contracts therefor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds and
determines that it is necessary to purchase the pipe and equip-
ment, hereinafter mentioned and described, for use in said Magnolia
Trunk Sewer Project.
NOW, THER BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as contracting agent for the Cities of Anaheim,
Fullerton and Orange, and Sanitary Districts of Garden Grove,
Buena Park, La Habra and Ilacentia, that the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
publish a notice inviting sealed proposals for furnishing the foll
ing described quantity and size of pipe and equipment, to-wit:
Approximately 7,600 linear feet of 18" 10-Gauge
Welded Steel Pipe as specified on Pages 4-8 to
4-13 of the aforesaid plans and specifications,
190 Steel "Dresser" type Couplings for said 18"
10-gauge Welded Steel Pipe above mentioned,
conforming to the aforesaid plans and spec-
ifications as set forth on page 4-11.
2 horizontal Sewage Pumps conforming to the
plans and specifications for the Magnolia
Trunk Sewer above mentipned, capable of dis-
