RESOLUTION NO. 1794 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RE- QUESTING THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION TO MAKE CERTAIN CHANGES IN THE PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE AND REQUESTING FURTHER A REPORT FROM THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ON SUCH PROPOSED CHANGES. WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the City Planning Commission has caused to have een prepared a proposed new zoning ordinance for the City of Anaheim, and WHEREAS, such proposed ordinance has been submitted to the legally requir ubiic hearings by the City Planning Commission, and WHEREAS. the City Council, after reviewing the text of said ordinance, s of the opinion that certain modifications in the wording would be desirable, and. WHEREAS, Chapter 807 of the Laws of 1949, as amended, require that on y changes contemplated in connection with any proposed official plan, the City ouncil shall request and receive further re_oort from the City Planning Commission n such proposed changes, and WHEREAS, the City Council desired that certain changes be made in said roposed comprehensive zoning ordinance as hereinafter more particularly set aut. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM hat the City Planning Commission be requested to make the following changes in the ording of the following named paragraphs, sub- paragraphs, headings and titles, o -wit: SECTION 4. "R -A" RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE A. USE 9. Poultry and domestic animals shall be, subject to the provisions of ordinance No. 512, and to the following conditions: a. Poultry and rabbits for domestic, non commercial use and not to exceed twenty-four (24) birds or rabbits. b. Chinchillas for commercial use and not to exceed twenty -four (24) d -1- c. Bovine animals, horses, sheep, goats, provided that the number thereof shall not exceed a number per acre equal to four (4) adult animals in any combination of the foregoing animals and their immature offspring. d. The keeping of all domestic animals provided for herein shall conform to other provisions of law governing same, nor shall any fowl or animal, or any pen, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 coop, stable, barn or corral, be kept or .maintained within forty (40) feet of any window or door of any residence, dwelling or other building used for human habitati or within one hundred (100) feet of the front line of the lot. e. Provisions of this item 9 limiting the number of domestic animals re not applicable when the area of any one farm or ranch stocked with such animals c ontains more than four (4) acres; except that commercial dairies and stock feeding ranches shall be subject to review and special -use permit as set forth in Section 6 E., and. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the words "of record" be stricken out of ection 4, Paragraph C. AREA, sub paragraph 4 (b), also Section 5, Paragraph C. cub- paragraph 4 (c), also Section 6, Paragraph C AREA, sub paragraph 4 (c), lso Section l,, Paragraph C. AREA, sub- paragraph 4 (d), also Section 8, Paragraph AREA, sub- paragraph 4 (ri. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that under Section 9, Paragraphs B HEIGHT and C 9.REA, be omitted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that under Section 11, Paragraph C. AREA, sub- 17 paragraph 5, Parking Areas, a. Required mibl.ic parking area.
