1950-1791WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the City Planning Commission has caused to have een prepared a proposed new zoning ordinance for the City of Anaheim, and WHEREAS, such proposed ordinance has been submitted to the legally requir =d Sublic hearings by the City Planning Commission, and WHEREAS, the City Council, after reviewing the text of said ordinance, pf the opinion that certain modifications in the wording would be desirable, and WHEREAS, Chapter 807 of the Laws of 1949, as amended, require that on any changes contemplated in connection with any proposed official plan, the City Counci shall request and receive further report from the City Planning Commission on such proposed changes, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires that certain changes be made in said roposed comprehensive zoning ordinance as hereinafter more particularly set out. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM hat the City Planning Commission be requested to make the following changes in the cording of the following named paragraphs, sub-paragraphs, headings and titles, it: RE SOLUT I ON NO. 1791 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANA1IM REQUESTING THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION TO MARE CERTAIN CHANGES IN THE PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE AND REQUESTING FURTHER A REPORT FROM THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ON SUCH PROPOSED CHANGES. 1. That the lots on the north side of East Water Street between the east side of South Claudina Street and the east line of Mother Colony Square be changed from R -3, Multiple Family Residence Zone to R -1, Single Family Residence Zone. 2. That the lots on the east side of South Olive Street between East South Street and the south line of Lot 5 of the Weight- Freeman and McCloughan Sub- division be changed from 14,-3, Multiple Family Residence Zone to R -1, Single Family Residence Zone. 3. That the lots on the south side of Mills Drive between North Philadelphia Street and North Claudina Street be changed from R -2, Two Family Residence Zone to R-1, Single Family Residence Zone. -1- 4. That the triangular property on the east side of Manchester Avenue runnin south from West Santa Ana Street, said property lying between Manchester Avenu and the proposed Santa Ana Freeway, be changed from R -A, Residential —Agriculture Zone to M -1, Light Manufacturing Zone. 5. That the lots on the east side of South Lemon Street between West South Street and West Valencia Avenue be changed from R-1, Single Family Residence Zone to R -2, Two Family Residence Zone. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of law, the City ?.lanning Commission be requested to render such further report bearing on the subje matter herein referred to at the earliest time possible, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this report be transmitted to the L'ity Council forthwith in order that the final action on the said proposed ordinanc by the City Council may be taken at the earliest possible date, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that with respect to the map, change is to be made t part of said proposed new zoning ordinance, that changes in said map be made to 'conform with the changes in said ordinance as herein above requested.
