RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHE AS, the California Hosiery Co., as owner of cer-
tain real property located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as Lot 4, Block 1, Tract 304
mills Park, has filed with the City Planning Commisssion of the
City of Anaheim, a petition requestin that a variance be granted
permitting it to use said above described property to manufacture
hosiery; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finks from consideration and
investi of the facts and the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and. exceptional conditions
do exist as to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district;
That 1��at a variance is necessary for the preservation
and enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner;
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance
will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the
property or improvements in the district wherein said property is
located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied
with:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same
is hereby granted to the California Hosiery Co. permitting it to use
said above described property to manufacture hosiery upon the follow
ing conditions:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordance
with all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and Regula-
tions of the City of Anaheim.
2. That the appearance of sai
real property, includin
all buildings thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satis-
factory appearance in keeping with the uses herein permitted.
3. That the maintenance and operation of said building
shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Depart-
ment of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention.
4 That the City Council hereby reserves the right to
revoke said variance permit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING FESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this day of September, 1950.
