A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACKNOWLEDGING
RECEIPT OP A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
TJNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM GIVING

TORY SO PROPCSY!) TO BE ANNEXED MAY APPEAR BEFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL AND SHOW CAUSE NHY SUCH TERRITORY
SHOULD NOT BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on
the 27th day of June, 1950, receive a written petition asking that
certain new territory described in said petition be annexed to the
City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabi-
ted territory, and said petition contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this Resolution
described, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence and reports
received that at the time of the filing and receipt of said petition,
it was and now is signed by owners of not less than one fourth (4)
of the area and not less than one fourth (j) of the assessed valuatio
of the land in such territory proposed to be annexed, according to
the last preceding equalized county assessment roll, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence and reports
received and from said petition that at the time of the filing and
presentation of saia petition that said new territory proposed to
be annexed to said City of Anaheim did not form a part of any
municipal corporation and that said territory was uninhabited and is
contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from said petition and
evidence and reports received that the boundaries of the territory

so proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim are as follows:
A tract of land including a portion of the S'; "gig: of the SW*
of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, and a por-
tion of the NW4 of the NW4 of Section 12, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, and in-
cluding a portion of East La Palma Avenue (otherwise known
as East North Street) in the County of Orange, State of
California and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the present east city limit line of
the City of Anaheim, said point being on the northerly line
of East La Palma Avenue (otherwise known as East North
Street) and 330 feet eastwardly from the monumented center
line of Placentia Avenue; thence Eastwardly along the said
north line of East La Palma Avenue (otherwise known as East
North Street) a distance of 990 feet, more or less, to the
easterly line of the SW4 of the SW4 of Section 1, Township
4 South, Range 10 W San Bernardino Base and Meridian;
thence Southwardly along said east line of the SW4 of the
SW4 of Section 1, T -4 -S, R -10 -W a distance of 30 feet to the
center line of said East La Palma Avenue (otherwise known as
East North Street) said center line also being the south
line of said Section 1, T -4 -S, R -10 -W, S.B.B. M; thence
continuing Southwardly along the east line of the NW4 of
the NW4 of Section 12, T -4 -S, R -10 -W, S.B.B. M. a distance
of 330 feet to a point; thence westwardly along a line parallel
to the monumented center line of East La Palma Avenue (other-
wise known as East North Street) a distance of 990 feet, more
or less, to a point on the present city limit line; thence
N- 0 07' -25 -E along the said east city limit line a distance
of 331.08 feet to a point w11iich is 1.08 feet notherly from
the center line of said East La Palma Avenue (otherwise known
as East North Street); thence N- 0 45' -05 -E along the
present city limit line a distance of 28.92 feet to the point
of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T-37 CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
That such proposed annexation be designated as
ROBER ANN *10N i0N and that notice of such pro-
posed annexation be and the same is hereby given, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $kh day of August, 1950
at the hour of 8 :00 o'clock P.M., at the City Council Chamber in
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, be and the same is hereby
fixed as the day, hour and place when and where any person owning
real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed, and
having any objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before
the City Council of the City of Anaheim and show cause why such
territory should not be so annexed; that all persons having any

objections to such proposed annexation are hereby notified to appear
on said day at said hour and place to show cause, if any they have,
why such territory should not be so annexed, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to publish or cause a copy of this
Resolution to be published at least once a week for two successive
weeks prior to the 8tk
a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of
Anaheim, County of OranEe, State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 11th day of July, 1950.
