A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTIFYING COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION
190 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE; THAT A
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT HAS BEEN AWARDED; AND
REQUESTING ALLOCATION FROM THE GRADE SEPARATION
FUND.
WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of the
Lewis Street Underpass, the City of Anaheim has complied with
all of the requirements of Section 190 of the Streets and
Highways Code: and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore on the
26th day of October, 1971, awarded a construction contract in
connection with said development; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the specific
amount to be allocated from the City Grade Separation Fund; and
MiEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City and the project that the foregoing
be certified to.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it certify, and it does hereby certify,
that the City of Anaheim has complied with all of the requirements
of Section 190 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California insofar as the same apply to the Lewis Street Under-
pass.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council certify,
and it does hereby certify, that a construction contract for the
performance of the work of improvement in connection with the
Lewis Street Underpass was awarded on October 26, 1971, to
Sully-Miller Construction Co., P.O. Box 5399, Long Beach,
California, 90805, in a total amount of $627,457.40.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim
request, and it does hereby request, that the sum of $550,000.00
be allocated to the City of Anaheim from the Grade Separation
Fund.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
