RESOLUTION NO. 1743
RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, L. Lund, of Elsinore, California, as owner of
certain real property situated at 319 North Manchester Avenue, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, has filed
with the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, a petition
requesting that a variance be granted permitting him to use a build-
ing at 319 North Manchester Avenue, now under construction, for the
mixing of paint and for storage of steel sash windows; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions
do exist as to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district;
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation
and enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner;
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance
will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the
property or improvements in the district wherein said property is
located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied
with:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same
is hereby granted to L. Lund permitting him to use a building at
319 North Manchester Avenue, now under construction, for the mixing
of paint and for storage of steel sash windows upon the following
conditions:
1. That the appearance of said real property, including
all buildings thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satis-
factory appearance in keeping with the uses herein oermitted.

2. That the maintenance and operation of said building
shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Depart-
ment of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention.
3. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to
revoke said variance permit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 1,th day of June, 1950.

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
And I further certify that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim signed and approved said Resolution on the 13th day of June,
