WHEPLEAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did

WT-iEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of Cali
forma, and is conti~,ruous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabite
territory, and said petition contained a description of said terri
Cory in TJsords and figures as hereinafter in this Feaolution de-
scribed, a.nd
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence arLd re-
oorts received ti~iat ~ the time of the filing; and receipt of said
petition, it was and now is signed by owners of not less than
one-fourth (rk) of the area s.nd not less than one-fourth ( ~ ) of the
assessed valu~.tion of the land in such territory proposed to be
annexed, according to the last preceding,, equ<~.li~ed county assess-
merit roll, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence and re-
torts received and from said petition that at t1e time of tree

Vermont Avenue (formerly Broad Street) in the County of
Oran;;;e, State of CaliforniU., a.nd more particularly described
as follows
Beginning; at the southeasterly corner of the present
city limits of the City of Anaheim, said corner being
tie Northeast corner of SoutYz East Street <~.nd East Ver-
mont Avenue (formerly Broad Street); thence N-1j°-30i-
W along; the present city limit line and. along the east
line of ss.id South East Street 781 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence N-7~a-30'-E along; the south line of
land conveyed to ~~ic~.ael 0. Bo;y le by deed recorded in
Book 2~~-, Page 2~~ of Deeds, Records of Los P.n~;eles
County, California, 119 feet, more or less, to a point
on the easterly line of Lot l~ of Anaheim Extension;

more or less, to a point on the sout~ierly line of said
