RESOLUTION NO. 1707
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF
AIM ESTABLISHING A BUILDING FUND FOR THE CITY
LIBRARY AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TRANSFER OF
FUNDS THERETO.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is maintaining a public library and it is
necessary to accumulate funds for the purpose of new buildings, additions or ex-
pansion of present facilities, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to set aside funds for said purpose and to
accumulate funds for future needs in the construction
of new buildings or ade tions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
that the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to establish
special fund to be known as the ANAHEIM LIBRARY BUILDING FUND, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to transfer from the Anaheim Library Fund the sum of Four
Thousand ($4,000.00) Dollars, to the Anaheim Library Building Fund.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 25th day
of November 1949.
