RESOLUTION NO. 1701
RESOLUTION REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FOR LEMON STREET IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Anaheim, on March 8, 1949, adopted
Resolution No. 1663 requesting aid to said City in the amount of $13,281.00 out
of the County's apportionment of the California Highway Userst Tax Fund for the
improvement of Lemon Street in said City as per detailed plans; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, on March 15, 1949, found and determined such
improvement to be of general County interest, and said request was granted;
NOW TE L1 'ORE BE IT RESOLVED AYD ORDERED, that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim hereby finds that the work as proposed for the improvement of Lemon
Street as hereinabove referred to has been completed and said work is hereby
accepted.
That the cost of said work was $11,757.27 and request is hereby made to the
County of Orange that the City of Anaheim be reimbursed in the sum of $11,757.27
from the grant of $13,281.00 made to it by the Board of Supervisors on March 15,
1949, and that the balance of $1,523.73 be canceled from said present grant and
be made available for reprogramming as an addition to the next succeeding similar
grant from the County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby
directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Board of Super—
visors of Orange County.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 18th day of
October, 1949.
