1949-1684RESOLUTION NO. f (;)/i RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE WHEREAS, Alice G. Riley, as owner of certain real property situated at 714 North Los Angeles Street, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as Lot 12, Block A. Elk Park Tract, has filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim a petition requesting that a variance be granted permitting her to use or lease said property for a Motor Scooter Agency and Unpainted Furniture Salesroom on said real pro- perty; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and in- vestigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission that: (1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do exist as to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or district; (2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner; (3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in the district wherein said property is located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same is hereby granted to Alice G. Riley permitting her to use or lease said property for a Motor Scooter Agency and. Unpainted Furniture Salesroom upon the following conditions: 1. That said business shall be operated in accordance with all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and Regulations of the City of Anaheim. 2. That the appearance of said real property, including all buildings thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satisfactory appearance in keeping with the uses herein permitted. -1- 3. That the maintenance and operation of said buildings shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Depart- ment of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention. 4. That scooters to be used for display, without fuel, in front and all demonstration and services to scooters must be done on real portion of property. 5. That the sidewalk and street must be kept clear and clea at all times. 6. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revok said variance permit for good cause.
