99-209RESOLUTION N0. 99R-209 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF THAT UNNAMED ALLEY LOCATED SOUTH OF WARD TERRACE AND EAST OF STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD (99-15A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 1999, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion of that unnamed public alley located generally south of Ward Terrace and east of State College Boulevard, more particularly described as follows: PARCEL 1: THAT PORTION OF THE 20.00 FOOT WIDE ALLEY ADJACENT TO LOTS 19 AND 20 OF TRACT NO. 1843, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 53 PAGES 45 AND 46 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY LYING EASTERLY OF THE SOUTHERLY PROLONGATION OF THE WESTERLY LINE OF THE EASTERLY 10.00 FEET OF SAID LOT 19 AND WESTERLY OF THE SOUTHERLY PROLONGATION OF THE WESTERLY LINE OF THE EASTERLY 20.00 FEET OF SAID LOT 20. PARCEL 2: THE EASTERLY 10.00 FEET OF LOT 19 AND THE WESTERLY 10.00 FEET OF LOT 20, TRACT N0. 1843, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 53 PAGES 45 AND 46 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Orange County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange.
