RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 1639
WHEREAS, W. W. Dolies as owner of certain real property
located at 726 South Los Angeles Street in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, in part of Vineyard Lot
H-3, heretofore filed with the City Planning Commission of the
City of Anaheim, a petition requesting that a variance be granted
permitting him to construct an addition to the present building
located on said property to be used for a complete automotive
maintenance and repair shop, including tops, bodies and upholster-4
ing, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission had held and conducted
a hearing on said application and had recommended to the City
the granting of said variance, and
WHEREAS, the City Council granted said variance permit under
the impression that it was to be a body and upholstering shop
and without fully realizing that it was to be a complete automo-
tive maintenance and repair shop, and
WHEREAS, citizens and residents in the vicinity of said
property have protested the granting of said variance, and the
City Council finds that the granting of such variance will be
detrimental to the property and improvements in the district
wherein said property is located and that good cause exists
for revocation of said permit;
NOW, THEREFORE, B IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 1639 heretofore passed and
adopted by the City Council granting a permit to W. W. Doll4k
as aforesaid, be and the same is hereby rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
28th day of December, 1948.
