WHEREAS, the Oity Council of the City of Anaheim did on
the 26th day of October, 1948, receive a written petition asking
that certain new territory described in said oetition be annexe
to said City of Anaheim, and
WHEREA, said territory nroposed to be annexed to said City
of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orana, •itate pf California
and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabited terri-
tory, and said oetition contained a description of aid territory
in words and figures as hereinafter in this Resolution described,
and
Aunu, the City Council finds that said petition is
-o than one-fourth (1/4) of the area
End not less than one-fourth (1/4) of the assessed valuation of
the land in such territory proposed to be annexed, according to
the last oireceding ec;ualized assessment roll, and
WHEREA6, said new territory oroposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim does not for a part of any municipal corporation
and it sears that said territory is uninhabited and is contiguouo
to the City of Anaheiw, and
THEREA'Ol, the boundaries of the territory so Proposed to be
annexed. to the City of Anaheim are as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the corner of the present city limits
of the Oity of Ananeim on the north line of '):est LaPalma
Avenue, 404.53 feet east of the southwest corner of
Lot 11, Miles Rancho, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 4, page 7, niscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California; thence North along the present city
limit line of said City of Anaheim to a point on the north
line of Romneya Lrive; thence 'dest along said north line

feet to the point of beginning.

person owning real property within such territory so proposed to
be annexed, and having any objection to the proposed annexation
may appear before the City Council of the City of Anaheim and
show cause why such territory should not be so annexed; that all
persons having any objections to such proposed annexation are
hereby notified to appear on said day at said hour and place to
show cause, if any they have, why such territory should not be
so annexed, and.
BE IT FURTER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be end he is
hereby authorized em directed to publish or cause a copy of
this Resolution to be published at least once a week for two
successive weeks prior to the /it_ day of December, 148, in
the Anaheim Bulletin, a newsoaber of general circulation, pub-
lished in the City of linaheim, County of Orange, tate of
California.
